While in the office, mobile handsets will associate with the corporate wireless network. Calls to and from your mobile handset will route via the corporate wireless network and the PBX rather than the Cellular network.
While on the move, the mobile handset will use the Cellular network and the RoamAnywhere client will detect movement and lower power to the wireless network interface to reduce battery power consumption.
When working in range of a public WiFi HotSpot the mobile handset will automatically establish a secure tunnel through to the Mobility Router. Calls to and from your mobile handset will route via the corporate wireless network and the PBX rather than the Cellular network. This feature can drastically reduce call costs and for International travellers can eliminate International roaming costs.
When working from home the mobile handset will automatically establish a secure tunnel through to the Mobility Router and will work as if in the office.
